Diamond exploration carried out 80 km north-west of Oodnadatta comprised SAEI aeromagnetic data interpretation plus basement float and stream sediment sampling. 29 magnetic dipolar features were identified, but few were ranked highly enough to be geochemically tested, and none were deemed sufficiently encouraging to warrant drilling. No definite kimberlitic indicators were found by field checks on 4 anomaly sites.
