Reconnaissance gravel and rock chip sampling were carried out in the Rockleigh - Eden Valley area, 50 km north-east of Adelaide, to further investigate a kimberlitic indicator minerals cluster defined on the licensee's adjoining Truro EL 1732. A few chromite grains were recovered, but all are non-kimberlitic in origin, and no macrodiamonds were recorded. Trace gold was detected in five gravel samples, three of which define an anomalous catchment in the north-west of the tenement area. Two ironstone outcrops containing elevated Zn and Cu values were discovered in the vicinity of the Marne River, as part of an associated search for base metals centred on interpretation of satellite thematic mapper imagery plus field observations of potential gossans.
