A 750 sample programme of soil geochemical surveying conducted in an area located south-east of Mount Serle Homestead failed to locate any noteworthy base metal anomalies: Pb and Zn values approached the regional background only, while Cu showed slightly higher concentrations, of between 80-600 ppm, within a 2.5 km long zone overlying the eastern limb of the Mount Serle Anticline.
