In a search for possible economic copper mineralisation in the Angepena Hill area, several small previously worked occurrences were examined, in addition to two broad stream sediment anomalies identified by an earlier explorer. No significant mineralisation was located, but interesting secondary copper occurrences within folded and diapiric sediments, such as the Mucatoona and Pinda Creek copper deposits, occupy workings within excluded private mineral claims located adjacent to EL 8.
