Reconnaissance visits were made to six mineralised localities and nearby areas within the Wooltana Volcanics outcrop zone, to try to ascertain if features related to volcanogenic massive sulphide (VHMS) ore deposits were present in the rocks. None of the critical components needed for allowing the possibility of this type of mineral occurrence were observed.
