An office review of the uranium prospectivity of an area located 30 km south-east of Lake Charles on the eastern Lake Frome Plains has drawn solely on previous drillhole data to assess the Cainozoic subsurface sedimentary sequence for its likely fluvial channel geology and sedimentary environments conducive to redox cell uranium ore deposition. Also mentioned is an interpretation of a regional aerial radiometric survey acquired by the licensee, which apparently failed to identify any anomalous radioactivity.
