Possible gold, base metals and platinum group element targets lying within, or spatially associated with, Delamerian ultramafic intrusive rocks occurring over an area of the Kanmantoo Trough between Mannum and Morgan, were sought for by conducting Sirotem survey traverses and re-assaying stored samples of Black Hill Norite obtained from previous drilling done by North Broken Hill (NBH). Elevated Au, Cu, Ni and PGE values were recorded in the latter work, but the related mineralisation was judged by MIM to be of limited width and lying at excessive depth. No conductivity anomalies were detected.
