No significant gold or base metal anomalies were returned from lag/laterite sampling 15 km west to northwest of Port Lincoln. Although extensive cover of aeolian Bridgewater Formation prevented systematic regolith sampling, shallow drilling was considered to be a viable sampling method for the magnetic anomalies, BIFs and regional shears which remain to be investigated.
