Geological reconnaissance of an area 25 km north-east of Port Lincoln, identified as having potential for shear-hosted gold and polymetallic mineralisation associated with the Kalinjala Mylonite Zone, revealed only limited exposures of basement. Regolith sampling could not be undertaken due to the extensive transported Cainozoic cover. Aeromagnetic data acquisition is seen as the only method suitable for target generation in this area.
