Soil geochemical sampling was carried out in the vicinity of the Bremer and Kapunda Faults, 2.5-3.5 km north-east and 1-2 km south-east respectively of the old Kapunda mine area. Elevated Pb, Zn, Cu and Au values were obtained, but the JV's need to address competing project priorities elsewhere dictated eventual full surrender of the subject licence after two partial relinquishments of ground had been made in December 1996 and December 1997.
