An aeromagnetic survey was followed by soil and calcrete sampling in the Poochera - Wirulla area, over possible southerly extensions to the Yarlbrinda Shear Zone. Only slightly elevated Au and Cu values were returned, and follow-up sampling in one area revealed no coherent Au anomalism above substantial transported cover. The prospectivity of the surrendered ground was therefore considered to be relatively low compared to adjacent areas.
