Thick and often unconsolidated cover sequences of Bridgewater, Uley and Wanilla Formations prevented systematic regolith sampling of much of the area between Wanilla and Peachna, 40 km north-west of Port Lincoln, while no coherent base metal anomalies were returned from lag / laterite geochemistry carried out over suitable exposures in the south of the licence area. RAB drilling of selected magnetic anomalies originating in Archaean rocks and Lincoln Complex granitoids (33 holes, total 1442 m) yielded some moderately elevated Au, Cu, Pb and Zn, but no evidence of any potentially prospective hydrothermal alteration was observed.
