Lag / laterite sampling and a geophysical data review of an area of concealed basement 25 km south-west of Port Lincoln, searching for granulite facies - hosted gold deposits within the Archaean Sleaford Complex, plus possible shear - related polymetallic and base metal mineralisation within the overlying Palaeoproterozoic Hutchison Group, has returned anomalous As and low order Au values from the eastern portion of the relinquished area, although systematic sampling of regolith across the licence was prevented by extensive cover sequences: a consultant's interpretation of current magnetic data has also identified three possible drill targets in the west of the licence area, which remain untested.
