Intensive sampling of stream gravels, plus ground magnetic and EM surveys and core and hammer drilling (8 holes, total 473 m), were undertaken over an area of pronounced narrow aeromagnetic anomalies in the Carrieton West - Eurelia district, to disclose a shallowly buried swarm of at least eleven and possibly many more en echelon Jurassic phlogopite kimberlite dykes ranging from a few millimetres to 30 m in thickness. A quantity of small diamonds (i.e. 55 so-called "microdiamonds" ranging up to 0.4 mm diameter, with an aggregate weight of 0.45 carats) were recovered from processing of local alluvium and identified weathered kimberlite outcrops, but none were found to approach economic grades of quality.
