No significant gold or base metal values were returned from geochemical sampling of quartz and barite veins in the vicinity of the Ediacara Fault, 40 km north-west of Parachilna. Imaging of aeromagnetic data purchased as infill coverage to a 1999 high resolution AGSO aeromagnetic survey confirmed the unprospective nature of a broad, very deep sourced (> 4 km) magnetic anomaly lying slightly to the east of the fault.
