An aeromagnetic / radiometric survey was carried out within the G2 structural corridor, south-east of Port Pirie, as part of a search for possible Moonta, Olympic Dam or Ernest Henry type gold - copper mineralisation, and for any diamond-bearing kimberlite pipes and diamond placer deposits. Six bullseye magnetic highs, consistent with kimberlitic emplacement, and one having potential for associated mineralising systems, were located near the Yackamoorundie Inlier, a probable diapiric structure.
