Reconnaissance calcrete sampling over aeromagnetic features was carried out in interdunal corridors 110 km south-west of Tarcoola. Although sampling was restricted by excessive depths to the calcrete horizon, weakly anomalous gold and copper were recorded along a north-westerly trending aeromagnetic feature, possibly defining the edge of a body of Hiltaba Suite granite.
