An exploration licence was taken out on the eastern side of Yorke Peninsula to cover a GEOTEM anomaly arising from BHP Minerals' Moonta survey flown in July-August 1998, and also to include the Curramulka magnetic complex situated further south....

An exploration licence was taken out on the eastern side of Yorke Peninsula to cover a GEOTEM anomaly arising from BHP Minerals' Moonta survey flown in July-August 1998, and also to include the Curramulka magnetic complex situated further south. These areas were assessed for their potential to host either Olympic Dam type iron oxide Cu-Au mineralisation or Broken Hill type stratiform Pb-Zn-Ag mineralisation, but no suitable target anomalies were identified. No field work was undertaken on the licence.
