Shallow basement along basin margins, and intersections of structural lineaments with Hiltaba Suite granitoids, were targeted over three separate areas: 40 km north-east of Elliston, and 10 and 30 km respectively south and east of Lock. No significant anomalism was revealed in reconnaissance calcrete sampling. Investigation of several remaining targets covered by calcareous aeolianite would require bedrock drilling. The coal potential of the licence was not investigated.
