Assays of tailings heaps at the Prince Alfred Mine, located 40 km north-east of Carrieton, returned 1-1.5% Cu. Up to 12.7 % Cu was recorded from rock sampling, and elevated Au and anomalous Cu were recorded in calcrete samples. Four areas of anomalous Cu were generated from a re-assessment of previous stream sediment results. Aspects of the mining archaeology were documented. Exploration is continuing under replacement tenure (EL 2506).
