A review of existing drillhole information from the area between Lake Frome and the NSW border targeted sedimentary uranium in Tertiary palaeochannels. 12 rotary holes totalling 1431 m were drilled in two interpreted palaeochannels, but returned no indications of uranium deposits of grade or size enough to be amenable to in-situ leaching.
