Sheeted vein type gold, Telfer style gold, and BIF hosted gold and base metals were the targets of exploration carried out in Adelaidean sediments of the Anabama - Radium Hill area. Work included an interpretation of aeromagnetic survey data, auger calcrete geochemical sampling on a regional 1.5 km x 3 km grid, soil sampling, and rock outcrop and stream sediment sampling. In-fill calcrete sampling was carried out on 800 m or 400 m grids. Computer neural analysis of a subset of the multi-element auger calcrete sample data that was collected from the now relinquished ground identified six geochemical anomalies which featured elevated Cu, Zn, Bi, U and Ta values. Initial follow-up was by soil and magnetic lag sampling. Only one of the anomalies was able to be eliminated as a result, with the remainder requiring additional investigations to overcome inconclusive or inadequate data.
