Initial investigations undertaken in the Garford area, 170 km north-west of Tarcoola, comprised lag and soil geochemical sampling, ground magnetic surveying, and petrographic descriptions of outcrop samples. Follow-up aircore and RAB drilling (78 holes, total 2209 m, including 13 m of diamond tails) returned elevated Au, Pt, Pd, Ni and Cr assay values from downhole sampling. Regional and infill calcrete sampling identified several areas anomalous in Au and As, two of which were RAB drilled (44 holes, total 1887 m), returning a peak gold response of 5 m @ 40 ppb Au. Further investigation was not feasible due to unresolved land access issues.
