An airborne magnetic/radiometric survey and surficial calcrete, soil and MMI sampling targeted Challenger/Tunkillia-type gold and Olympic Dam style copper-gold, associated respectively with a number of shear zones and with the Charleston Granite, within a small licence area located approximately 50 km south-west of Whyalla. Nine coincident radiometric and uranium geochemical anomalies were recorded extending for a distance of 14 km, but these were later discounted as being caused by thin Quaternary valley fill lying adjacent to elevated, mylonitised granitoid bedrock. Cu and low order Au anomalies in calcrete were not confirmed by the follow-up MMI sampling results.
