MMI soil sampling and a gravity survey were carried out over a circular magnetic anomaly adjacent to the Torrens Hinge Zone, 70 km north of Hawker. Two RC holes were drilled to 314 and 433 m in the zone of highest residual gravity, but were abandoned above bedrock following bogging and consequent loss of drill rods due to flowing Tertiary sand. Anomalous Cu, Zn and Cd were reported in only one of fifteen MMI samples. Further gravity and ground magnetic surveys are required to better constrain the geometry and depth of the anomaly.
