The area relinquished lies on the southern coast of Fleurieu Peninsula, approximately 25 km east of Cape Jervis, and is the most recently issued and southernmost of a number of licences held to assess the untested full extent of historically economic mineralisation occurring within the Cambrian Kanmantoo Trough. Exploration was confined to interpretation of existing company and SAEI Area B12 aeromagnetic datasets, plus assessment of the old gold and tungsten workings. A selected magnetic target, which extends at reduced intensity into this licence from an adjoining one also held by the consortium, was drilled outside of the common tenement boundary, only a short distance to the north of it.
