A review of available regional calcrete sampling results obtained in the West Childara area by previous explorers suggests that the predominantly low level geochemical anomalies are related to where there is poor quality regolith development at sample sites, whereas higher elemental values occur in rarer, more well developed pedogenic calcrete. No field work was undertaken.
