Within an area spanning the Eyre Highway between Pygery and Karcultaby, acquisition of an airborne magnetic/radiometric survey was followed by calcrete geochemical sampling. Twenty-eight aircore holes (total 1616 m) were drilled at three prospects to test targets generated by interpretation of the geophysical data that corresponded to various exploration models including a Tunkillia-type mineralisation model, but no significant gold or base metal values were encountered. A faulted, sinistrally sheared and curvilinear, north-east trending Archaean gneiss - Hiltaba Suite granitic bedrock unit boundary was interpreted from 1:25 000 scale field mapping done in the vicinity of a 3 ppb Au gold-in-calcrete anomaly. Drilling of this potentially gold-mineralised feature is planned under the company's current tenure (EL 2845 - a new joint venture with Adelaide Resources NL).
