Results of Western Nuclear's ongoing exploration/appraisal drilling of the north-western Lake Frome Plains for sedimentary uranium are presented (for 62 rotary plug holes, totalling 34,534 feet). Mineralised Tertiary palaeochannel sediments were intersected in many of the drillholes, with narrow intervals of ore grade uranium minerals interpreted from gamma logs.
