TARGET: Possible syngenetic copper sulphide orebody extensions in Early Cambrian metasediments beneath the Wheal Friendship - Wheal Maria and Bremer mine areas of the Callington district. EXPLORATION: Gridding plus detailed geological mapping and rock structural analysis; detailed IP, resistivity and ground magnetic surveys of lode zones; rotary percussion (10 holes, total 3330 feet) and inclined diamond drilling (4 holes, total 4300 feet); and soil, bedrock and drill core sampling. RESULTS: Diamond drilling on the Bremer grid detected 2 mineralised shoots beneath the Bremer and Boundy lodes, carrying good lead values in addition to economic primary copper minerals.
