Report details engineering designs, drawings and costings for a new commercial scale leaching plant intended by E-Z to treat 70,000 tons/year of its crushed Beltana willemite ore having an average feed grade of about 40% Zn. The enriched, dissolved product of several plant processes involving grinding, acid leaching, neutralization, filtering and ionic/catalytic Ge-Ni purification stages will then be fed into the company's existing, adjacent Risdon electrolytic zinc refinery.
