Buried Tertiary sand in the Mount Compass area, ~50 km south of Adelaide, was the target of exploration performed adjacent to the existing Glenshera sand pit. Aircore drilling (31 vertical holes, total 1269 m) defined an area containing a deposit of glass - making grade sand, which was pegged as two mineral claims. The licence was then allowed to expire.
