The Alberga River area, located approximately 45 km north-east of Marla, was considered to have potential for Ni-Cu sulphide mineralisation associated with Giles Complex mafic-ultramafic intrusions. Reprocessing of available geophysical data, including recent Questem data, highlighted only surficial responses related to outcropping Bulldog Shale and conductive Adelaidean units. No significant anomalies were identified in areas of outcropping Palaeoproterozoic strata.
