Following the Prominent Hill discovery of Minotaur Resources Ltd, a re-appraisal of magnetic data and calcrete geochemistry in the area immediately north of Lake Gilles led to renewed interest in the potential there for Olympic Dam style iron-oxide copper-gold mineralisation. A small infill calcrete sampling programmed defined weakly anomalous copper-gold geochemistry coincident with significant aeromagnetic and gravity anomalies. Drilling is recommended for the retained area.
