Iron-oxide copper-gold mineralisation of the Moonta-Wallaroo or Olympic Dam style, hosted in Palaeoproterozoic rocks of the Moonta Sub-domain, was the target of exploration in an area located east of Port Broughton and south of Port Pirie on upper Yorke Peninsula. A review of historic drillhole data and interpretation of new and historic geophysical datasets was followed by limited first-pass soil sampling. Analysis by partial leach and enzyme leach methods revealed no anomalous soil geochemistry in the surrendered areas, nor were any geophysically anomalous areas identified.
