Iron-oxide copper-gold mineralisation of either Moonta-Wallaroo or Olympic Dam style was the target of exploration in an area extending southwards and eastwards from Port Augusta. A review of historic exploration data plus an evaluation of new and historic geophysical data was followed by first pass soil sampling and a limited infill gravity survey, comprising 24 stations at ~1 km spacing. Sample analysis by partial leach and enzyme leach methods revealed no anomalous soil geochemistry in the surrendered areas, nor were any geophysically anomalous areas identified.
