Stratiform Cu mineralisation hosted within Adelaidean sediments is the primary target of exploration in the Mount Gunson area, located 45 km south-east of Woomera, while the area is also considered to have potential for Olympic Dam style Cu-Au-U mineralisation. Although it has been held since mid-1995, the only significant exploration performed within the now relinquished area was the acquisition during 2002 of portions of semi-regional and detailed infill gravity surveys (595 stations read on a nominal 2 km x 2 km grid, plus 192 stations of closer-spaced infill). No significant targets were generated. All of these relevant new gravity data are being released herein.
