Geochemical sampling of ferruginous lag, stream sediments, BLEG soils, and rock chips, targeted possible Thompson Belt - type nickel-copper and precious metal mineralisation hosted by Lower Proterozoic Hutchison Group metasediments in an area 40 km north of Port Lincoln. An airborne magnetic-radiometric survey was also completed over the entire tenement. Several areas of elevated Ni-Cr geochemistry were identified, but interpretation of geophysical data and follow-up sampling did not enhance the prospectivity of the anomalies.
