Geochemical sampling of ferruginous lag, stream sediments and soils targeted possible Thompson Belt type ultramafic-hosted nickel-copper and precious metal mineralisation that may have been intruded within a sequence of Lower Proterozoic Hutchison Group metasediments in an area 70 km north of Port Lincoln. A 7660 line km airborne magnetic-radiometric survey was also acquired over the entire tenement. Several occurrences of elevated Ni-Cr geochemistry were identified, but interpretation of geophysical data and follow-up sampling did not enhance the prospectivity of the anomalies.
