Calcrete sampling under an earlier Exploration Licence (EL 2077) in the Moonbi area, 160 km north-west of Tarcoola, had returned an anomalous gold sample of 13 ppb Au. As part of Dominion's brownfields exploration programme for gold resources to support the Challenger mine and mill development 50 km to the east, current work has comprised additional regional and infill calcrete sampling which identified a gold anomalous 700 m x 600 m area, within which samples contain up to 52 ppb Au. However, aircore drilling (9 holes, total 354 m) on this prospect demonstrated that the anomalous gold was present only in transported overburden.
