The various abandoned historic copper workings near Parabarana Hill in the northern Flinders Ranges were the subject of a brief field visit and prospectivity assessment made by a geological consultant to the licensee. Subsequent geological mapping and geochemical sampling carried out by a contract prospector has given more detail concerning the distribution of mineralisation in a contact metasomatic zone, and has returned economic uranium values from assaying of radioactive and sometimes fluorescent hand specimens of altered, epidotised granite.
