Exploration of a small area within the Nackara Arc region, lying 15-20 km north-west of the Mount Grainger Goldfield, has sought economic Telfer-type stratabound gold deposits hosted within folded domal structures in Adelaidean strata, which have been intruded during the Delamerian Orogeny by a possible fractionated, bimodal mafic-felsic igneous suite. Work done since July 2001 over this licence has comprised a study of satellite (Aster) multispectral images, and the assaying of four rock chip samples for a range of elements. The geochemistry results were not significant.
