Exploration for possible diamondiferous kimberlite in an area located 30 km north-northwest of Woomera has consisted of office studies and a consultant's airborne geophysical data interpretation. Previous CRA Exploration kimberlitic indicator sampling results were reviewed and it was decided that they represent only low geochemical background in the area being relinquished. Within this area four new magnetic targets have been selected, two of which may not have cultural causes. However, delays and difficulties with arranging land access have meant that no field work could be undertaken over the relinquished portion of the licence.
