Exploration of a small area of Neoproterozoic and Cambrian fold belt strata in the Jubilee Hill - Mount Roebuck area, located 45 km east-northeast of Blinman, was aimed at finding possible economic base and precious metal mineralisation associated with diapiric structures and fault-controlled buried intrusive bodies. No field activities were undertaken, but a consultant was retained to carry out office studies of airborne geophysical data produced from a 1999 AGSO-flown, 200 m line spaced regional survey which was partly funded by the licensees. He identified a subtle circular aeromagnetic anomaly lying just east of the historic Jubilee - Wirrapowie mines area, which he interpreted from geophysical modelling scenarios to most likely be sourced by a small, shallow, eastwards-dipping tabular basic igneous intrusion. Separate interpretation of the airborne radiometric data also disclosed a minor uranium anomaly on the north-western side of the Mount Roebuck diapiric breccia zone; again, this was thought to be of igneous origin, albeit indirectly, through the weathering of a probable uranium mineral-rich xenolith.
