Diamond exploration over two relinquished part EL areas located between Quorn and Hawker in the southern Flinders Ranges has comprised kimberlite indicator mineral and geochemical sampling of drainage channels situated on the eastern margins of the Willochra and Willow intramontane basins. Two of the six drainage samples taken from sites there returned positive indicators, mainly chromites plus minor pyrope garnet. No significant geochemical results were obtained from -80 mesh size sediment samples collected from the same sites.
