Copper mineralisation at the Mount Mary workings is restricted to a large E-W trending fault that emanates from the Blinman Diapir. Minor cross-shear fractures along this fault are filled by quartz-siderite veins that carry malachite plus some sulphides, probably grading between 1-5% Cu. The small dimensions of ore shoots visible at the surface and the low grade do not appear to warrant any geophysical or drilling evaluation.
