In a search for possible Proterozoic - Cainozoic unconformity - related, concealed sedimentary uranium deposits in an area of the Eucla Basin located 60 km north of Fowlers Bay, 17 rotary holes totalling 711.8 m were put down along 4 traverses across the subject northern part of the licence, after first flying a portion of a 700 line miles airborne radiometric survey there, that did not record any anomalies. The drilling results were poor, and it is considered that this now relinquished part of the EL is unprospective for uranium.
