This article describes the Neoproterozoic glacial facies on Bimbowrie Station, with emphasis on their vertical and lateral relationships, and interprets their sedimentary and tectonic setting. The term 'Old Boolcoomata Conglomerate Member' is introduced and defined for the enigmatic, granite-dominated conglomerate, first remarked on by Douglas Mawson, that is characteristic of glacial sedimentation in the MacDonald Corridor, upon and adjacent to a glaciated basement terrain.
