A resistivity survey consisting of four E-W profiles and a follow-up rotary drilling programme (16 holes, total 1456 m) were conducted in EL 121, adjacent to the SA-NSW border, to try to locate possible sedimentary uranium deposits within inferred southward extensions of the Tertiary Yarramba Palaeochannel system discovered on ELs 85 and 98. A group of four probably un-related Tertiary palaeochannel arms were delineated, incised into Proterozoic metamorphic and igneous rocks, but drilling has indicated that all the target basal channel sands are oxidised, and no anomalous radioactivity is present.
