Copper-gold exploration undertaken over a small area within the Woomera Prohibited Area, 20 km west of Woomera township, was restricted to carrying out geophysical data interpretation and conceptual modelling for generating drill targets based around two large regional gravity anomalies, which appear to coincide at depth with well-developed sets of magnetic linears. The consequent inferred presence of intrusive dyke bodies and deep-seated faults, which over Hiltaba Event time might possibly have been conducive to the creation of Olympic Dam - type hydrothermal mineralising systems, was unable to be investigated further by planned RAB/RC drilling and downhole sample geochemical analyses, owing to corporate financial difficulties and the failure of negotiations with the Commonwealth Defence Support Centre for timely land access.
